Creating a new consumer organization

Create a new consumer organization to simplify the API consumption management, improve collaboration, and ensure secure, governed access for teams or business units.

Before you begin

You must have owner access to the respective Consumer Catalog.

About this task

Create a new consumer organization to:
  • Group API consumers logically, such as teams or business units
  • Manage access and subscriptions centrally for all members
  • Enable collaboration by sharing API subscriptions and credentials
  • Apply governance and role-based access control for secure operations
  • Track usage and analytics at the organization level for better insights

Procedure

  1. Log in to your Consumer Catalog.
  2. Click on your organization name on the header.
  3. From the list, select Create new organization.
  4. In the Organization title field, enter the new organization title.
  5. Click Save.

Results

The new organization is created and appears in your organization list. You can now manage members, subscriptions, and view analytics for this organization
