Adding custom asset gallery to UI

You must add the custom asset gallery to the UI for the assets to appear in the UI for your consumers to view the assets.

In this example, consider creating a gallery for the Microservice assets.

Click the menu options icon from the title bar and click Administration.
Click the customize icon next to the active theme.
Select Pages and click Add.
From the Add page screen that appears, select Asset gallery page, and click Next.
Select Microservice from the Select the asset field.
Click Create.
The asset gallery is added to the list of pages.
Click Add to add to the asset detail page.
From the Add page screen that appears, select the Asset details page, and click Next.
Select Microservice from the Select the asset field.
Click Create.
The asset details screen is added to the list of pages.

Add a custom assets gallery to the top navigation bar. For information about adding a page to the top navigation bar, see Adding new item to navigation bar.
To add the custom asset gallery to the top navigation, provide the page target URL in the following format:
```
/pages/assets/custom_asset_type/gallery
```
The added custom assets appear in the gallery.
Note: Make sure that you change the active theme or you apply the theme in which you made the changes. Also you cannot modify the default theme to include a custom asset gallery. Create a theme and customize it.
