Disconnecting from repositories

Disconnect a repository from your project to maintain a clean project structure, simplify repository management, and prevent unnecessary updates or changes from sources that are no longer relevant.

Procedure

  1. Click API Studio settings on the home page to open the settings menu.
  2. Go to the Repositories tab.
  3. Click the Disconnect icon next to the GitHub repository link.
  4. Click Delete to remove the connection.
The repository connection is stopped securely without affecting locally saved projects or configurations.

After disconnecting, projects associated with that repository no longer appear in API Studio until you connect to the repository again. Disconnecting is useful when you no longer need access to a repository or plan to connect to a different VCS setup.
