Downloading and installing a gateway

IBM® API Connect V10 Reserved deploys with the IBM DataPower API gateway installed. You can deploy additional DataPower API gateways for use with your reserved instance.

About this task

Complete the following steps to download and install the IBM DataPower API Gateway for your environment.

Note: If you use VMware and don't have a Passport Advantage contract, contact IBM Cloud Support to obtain the package.

Procedure

Download the DataPower API Gateway installation package as explained in the API Connect on-premises documentation:
- Kubernetes: Obtaining product files
- VMware: First steps for deploying in a VMware environment
Install the gateway as explained in the appropriate topic:
Note: Set the timezone to UTC on all DataPower installations for use with API Connect.
