What's new in the latest release (version 10.0.11.0)

IBM® API Connect 10.0.11.0 is s the latest 10.0.x Continuus Delivery (CD) release, and is the follow-on release to the prior 10.0.10.0 Support Cycle-2 (SC-2) release.

IBM API Connect 10.0.11.0 CD includes the following enhancements.

Product files and release notes

  • Access the latest files from IBM Fix Central by searching for the API Connect product and your installed version. Full installation files for IBM API Connect can be downloaded from Passport Advantage.

Upgrading to API Connect 10.0.11.0

API Connect 10.0.11.0 supports upgrade only from 10.0.10.0 and 10.0.8.4.

Note: Upgrading to v10.0.11.0 removes all existing scan records to align with the updated database schema.
  • Customers upgrading from 10.0.10.0 will lose all previous scan history.
  • To preserve critical information, archive or export important scan results before starting the upgrade.

What's new for Developers

Download all APIs from Product Detail view

After publishing any product with APIs, you can now download all associated APIs as a ZIP file directly from the product page in the portal. The ZIP file supports downloading APIs of all types, including SOAP, WSDL, REST, and GraphQL, with API names and versions preserved. This enhancement simplifies bulk API management and improves accessibility for developers working across multiple services.

Scan functionality refactored

The scanning process has been redesigned to reduce high memory consumption during large scans.

Optimized backup size

Daily backup sizes are now significantly smaller, typically within a few hundred MBs, improving storage efficiency.

What's new for API product managers

New initiator fields added to audit event payloads
To provide enhanced visibility into the source of audit events, the following fields are now included in audit event payloads:
  • initiator.host
  • initiator.host.agent
  • initiator.host.address

Improved audit logging experience
A new audit logging UI is now available, providing a comprehensive view of all audit events.
Default saved query for Analytics tab
You can now set a default saved query that automatically loads when you open the analytics tab. For more information, see Analytics dashboards.
New Engagement destination option
Engagement now supports Amazon Simple Notification Service. For more information, see Amazon SNS.
