Deleting old backups

Manage the retention of your analytics backups.

To delete old backups, you can delete the backup files directly on your remote SFTP server or object-store.

Warning: For V10.0.7 and earlier, do not delete backup files directly from your remote server. In previous releases, the analytics database backups are incremental, and deleting any files can corrupt all the backups. Refer to the API Connect documentation for your API Connect version.
