You can provide the ability for users in the Developer Portal to
navigate by using tag hierarchy.
Before you begin
You must have administrator access to the Developer Portal to
complete this task.
About this task
The Categories block provides the ability to navigate by tag
hierarchy. The Categories block is disabled by default, so you need to enable the block and then
configure it to your requirements.
Procedure
To provide navigation by tag hierarchy, complete the following steps:
- Click Extend, in the filter box enter Hierarchical
Taxonomy Menu.
- Select
Hierarchical Taxonomy Menu, then click
Enable.

Click .
All of the blocks in the connect_theme are displayed.

Scroll to the region that you want to add the block to, for example Collapse
right, click Place block.
- Find the
Hierarchical Taxonomy Menu block in the list and click
Place block.

Complete any configuration tasks that you require for the
Collapse right
block, including selecting the correct taxonomy to use and indicating what pages to display the
block on.

Click Save block to save your changes.
