Migrating API test data

Back up API testing data before upgrading your IBM® API Connect to V10.0.1, and then restore the data after the upgrade is complete.

About this task

Starting with V10.0.1, the Automated API behavior testing application no longer uses MongoDB to store data. When you upgrade from V10 to V10.0.1 on Kubernetes, you must migrate data that is currently stored in MongoDB into the internal database storage used by API Connect.

You can migrate the following types of API test data:
  • Snapshots
  • Project environments
  • Vault entities, vault variables (password fields cannot be migrated)
  • Tests, test variables (test results cannot be migrated)
