Back up your data before performing an upgrade.
Upgrading to Application Modernization Accelerator 5.0 from 4.X and before
There is no upgrade path to Application Modernization Accelerator 5.0. We recommend that you upload your existing zip files again, or download the discovery tool and re-run it. If you have existing data that only exists in Application Modernization Accelerator then you may wish to migrate your data. Further details on data migration can be found in our Data Migration section.
Upgrading to Application Modernization Accelerator 4.6 from 4.5
To upgrade to Application Modernization Accelerator 4.6.0, you will need to switch the subscription channel. In the OpenShift UI, navigate to the Application Modernization Accelerator Operator. Click on the Subscription tab and click to edit the v4.5 channel in the Update channel area. Select the v4.6 channel from the list of options. Allow Application Modernization Accelerator several minutes to update.
