pwck Command
Purpose
Verifies the correctness of local authentication information.
Syntax
pwck
Description
The pwck command verifies the correctness of the password information in the user database files by checking the definitions for all users. The pwck command internally calls the pwdck command with -n and ALL options.
Exit Status
- 0
- The command was completed successfully.
- >0
- An error occurred.
Security
- Attention RBAC users
- Attention RBAC users: This command can perform privileged operations. Only privileged users can run privileged operations. Examples
- To verify that all the users and administrators exist in the user
database, and have any errors reported (but not fixed), enter:
pwck
