Mirrored striped LVs performance implications

Logical volume mirroring and striping combines the data availability of RAID 1 with the performance of RAID 0 entirely through software.

Logical volumes cannot be mirrored and striped at the same time. Volume groups that contain striped and mirrored logical volumes cannot be imported into AIX.
