HSTS can be uninstalled without removing existing configuration files.
Procedure

If you are uninstalling in order to upgrade your Aspera® product, review the upgrade preparation steps in Upgrading or rolling back HSTS.

Close or stop the following applications and services:
- FASP® transfers.
- SSH connections.

Uninstall HSTS by running the following command:
# bash /opt/aspera/var/uninstall.sh
