Application overview
Use IBM® AdTarget to maintain direct control over your level of data syndication with Partners, create and deploy audience segmentation logic, and evaluate the effectiveness of your display ad campaigns. The AdTarget user interface is divided into three primary tabs or functional areas of:
- Report
- View which advertising campaigns function well and which campaigns are not meeting your goals.
- View how well your campaigns are run by your different Partners.
In the AdTarget Report tab, campaign reports allow your display ad marketers to track the performance of offsite advertising programs that you launch. AdTarget performance reports provide summary level metrics for your programs and directs you to areas that you might want to further analyze. Click-attribution performance can be analyzed in detail with the Digital Analytics Marketing Programs report. The Impression Attribution solution offers the ability to attribute conversion to offsite ad impressions within IBM Digital Analytics Explore.
- Integrate
- You can work with multiple Partners and send each Partner a different type of visitor behavioral data specific to the types of display ad programs.
- You directly specify audience segments that are based on real-time visitor activity from your site for retargeting or reacquisition purposes.
- You maintain complete control over your organization's site activity data and with which third parties you want to share data.
In the AdTarget Integrate tab, you control which AdTarget Network Partners you want to work with and the specific level of data syndication you want to activate for each Partner. Select the Partners that you want to work with and the types of data you want those organizations to use in the display advertising campaigns they run. From the Integrate page, you maintain complete control over your organization's data syndication though the Digital Analytics API. You can change the data that you specify to syndicate at any time. Also, you can completely disable data syndication with a previously activated Partner. There are no work request tickets to file with Digital Analytics or your Partner organizations because you self-manage data syndication through AdTarget.

- See the status of data syndication with your Ad Target Partners.
In the AdTarget Manage tab, you can review the current state of your Partner Syndications. The Digital Analytics API manages requests between your organization and a specific Partner. The AdTarget application provides the status (such as active or pending request) of your Partner organizations. Use the Manage tab to review all visitor segments that were created within AdTarget to be used specifically for display advertising campaigns.
