Setting up encoding preferences for cross-system UNIX file transfer
You can now choose to use the default native encoding when transferring a UNIX file from another host system rather than using the source encoding that was used on the host machine. By default, the encoding is set to use the source encoding in keeping with the original functionality.
To set up the encoding preferences, go to
.- Determine from source: This option will set the encoding to be used during cross-system file transfer to the encoding of the source machine in text mode.
- Determine from target environment: This option will set the encoding to be used during cross-system file transfer to the encoding of the target machine in text mode.
