Building z/OS applications with the zBuilder

The DBB zBuilder is an integrated configuration-based build framework for building z/OS applications with DBB. Build configuration is defined in YAML files under the control of the build engineering team. The underlying implementation is comprised of DBB provided Java tasks that use the existing DBB toolkit APIs.

NOTE: The zBuilder is being provided as an alternative to the IBM Open Source zAppBuild build framework, not necessarily as a replacement. The zBuilder uses the same underlying DBB toolkit APIs as zAppBuild. There are no plans to remove these APIs or to stop maintaining zAppBuild for the foreseeable future.
