Program rules

Use rules to identify and guide customers through your automated flow. Consider all the actions customers can take to interact with your brand. Apply rules at entrance and on Decision paths and Update profile.
Tip: Use a query as your contact source. Calculate the query outside of the program to see how many contacts will initially enter your program.

Paths

Consider a new path if you want to perform different actions on a segment of your list or data source. Naming a path with a specific name, such as Registered or Opened, makes reporting results more meaningful.

2. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Relational table data

Program rules and queries can be configured based on data from relational tables. Typically, relational tables contain data from external systems that you want to use in Acoustic Campaign.
Note: To use child relational tables, IBM must enable them for your organization. Contact Client Support. You can use relational tables and behaviors as part of an entrance query. You cannot use child relational tables for program entry, but you can use them in other rules.
Examples include:
  • Product catalog SKU
  • Favorite interests
  • Warranty expiration
  • Club registration
  • Membership information
  • Event attendance information
Note: If you're using triggered entrance criteria, you can't use relational table data in the contact source query.
