How do I create Simple Events?

You can create Simple Events from within Session replay by using Simple Event Capture. Simple Event Capture is not available for native sessions.

Before you begin

Simple Events are created from within Session Replay. Use Session Search to find sessions that contain the conditions from which to create your Simple Event.

From the Session list, click the Replay session icon of the session that you want to use to create the Simple Event.
Note: The session opens in the Preferred Session View, as set on your user profile or in the Replay Settings. You must be in the Replay view to create Simple Events.

About this task

  2. Click Start recording to record your interaction with the session.

The first line in the Simple event capture interface shows the root “screen name” of the session.
