Obtaining connection values for Splunk

About this task

Use these instructions to get the connection values for the Splunk connector.

Procedure

To obtain the token value (BEARER TOKEN), complete the following steps:
Tip: For detailed instructions about generating tokens, see Create authentication tokens on the Splunk documentation page.
  1. Log in to your Splunk Cloud account.
  2. Go to Settings > Token.
  3. Click the New Token button.
  4. Enter the purpose of the token in the Audience field.
  5. Click the Create button.
  6. Copy the token value and save it somewhere safe.
