Use the locksuperuser command to lock the superuser so that it cannot be used to log in to the system or perform service actions. The user of this task is limited to the IBM® Remote Support user.

Syntax

Description

This command locks the superuser account.

Note:

For nodes in candidate mode, this command is not allowed and fails with an error message.
For nodes in spare mode, this command is not allowed and fails with an error message.
For nodes in service mode, this command is not allowed and fails with an error message.
For nodes in active mode, this command can run on any node in the cluster and pushes the setting to all active and spare nodes.
Only the sra_privileged users can run this command in order to configure the remote support.
