1867 Data reduction pool exceeding warning threshold

Explanation

This error occurs when a storage pool exceeds its capacity warning threshold.

User response

Review the available capacity of the system. Consider one or more of the following actions to increase available space:
  • Use the migratevdisk command to move a volume to another storage pool.
  • Delete any volumes that are not in use.
  • Add storage to the I/O group, if sufficient possible extents are available under the extent limit in the I/O group.

The current extent count for the pool is in the sense data. It can also be found by lsmdiskgrp in physical_capacity or extent_size. For more information on extent limits, please see Configuration Limits.

  • Increase the threshold percentage for the pool.
Note: If the threshold is set too high, the pool might run out of space before a warning is logged.
