Removing replication policies
You can use the management GUI or command-line interface (CLI) to delete a replication policy. You can remove a replication policy when it is not associated with any volume groups.
Using management GUI
- In the management GUI, select .
- On the Volume Groups page, select the volume groups from which you need to remove the associated replication policy.
- Under the Policies tab, click Manage Replication Policy. Only eligible replication policies that can be removed or changed are displayed in the table.
- Click the new replication policy that you want to apply to the volume groups.
- To remove the replication policy, select the existing replication policy from the table and
click Remove replication policy from the volume group.Note: When you remove a replication policy from a volume group, the copy of the volume group and the volumes are deleted from the remote system.
- Click Apply changes.
Using command-line interface
chvolumegroup -noreplicationpolicy <volumegroup_id_or_name>
where -noreplicationpolicy command unassigned or remove the replication policy
from the volume group. The volume_group_id_name specifies the name or the ID of
the volume group from which the policy is removed.
