svctask startsystem
Use the svctask startsystem command to start a single node or
the entire system in a controlled manner. This command only enables security administrator and
administrator to start a node.
Syntax
Parameters
- -exitservicestate
- (Required) Takes the specified node out of service state. The node must be a member of the cluster.
- -node node_name | node_id
- (Required) Specifies the node that you want to start. You can specify one of the
following values:
- The node name or label that you assigned when you added the node to the system.
- The node ID that is assigned to the node (not the worldwide node name).
An invocation example
svctask startsystem -node node42 -exitservicestate
The resulting output:
