Portset links
When you create a host in a storage partition that is configured for high availability, the portset link defines the portset that is used to create the host on the remote system based on the local portset.
Only portsets used for Ethernet or Fibre Channel host attachment can be linked between systems.
Using the management GUI to configure portset links simplifies the process by allowing portsets to be linked from a single system without needing to log in to the other system. Portset links can also be configured by using the CLI or REST API, connecting to each system.
Using the management GUI
To configure high availability for a partition, the management GUI guides you through the steps to link portsets between systems.
To link more portsets later, or manage existing links, go to the page in the management GUI and select the portset that you want to add or modify.
Using the command-line interface
Portsets on partnered systems are linked if they have the same replication_portset_link_uid value. To identify portsets that are linked, use the lsportset command on each system.
To create, modify, or remove the links between portsets by using the command-line interface, use the chportset command.
