File Search

The file search is restricted to specific roles. If you do not have access to this part of the platform and need to perform a search, please contact your administrator.

Accessing the File Search screen

There are 3 ways that you can access the Search option feature:

  • Home page: Click on the Search File box.

  • Messaging Tab: The dropdown allows the user to choose the File Search.

In this section, you can search using:

  • The organization or sub-organization in which the file was initiated. You can find this field at the top right of the search screen. You select the top-level organization before clicking on the Search file button, but you can select a sub-organization once you are on the search screen.

  • File direction: Inbound or Outbound files.

  • The creation date for the searched file. You can choose to apply a range of From/To or only one date.

  • The status of the file.

To choose more than one item in a list, keep the control key (Ctrl) depressed while clicking a new item in the list. You can also select all the items by clicking the All button.

  • Category of the transaction related to the file. It can be Payment or PSR or Financial Message.

  • File type: the format for this file. This is the cartridge used to import the inbound file or to generate the outbound file.

  • File name: the name of the file to search for. This field supports pattern matching with implicit wildcards to return all file names that contain the search string.

  • File ID: Internal identifier.

  • Flow: allow to add multiple Flows that you used to process the file.

  • Transaction Reference: Unique alphanumeric code assigned to each financial transaction.

  • File Format: Message Format.

In this part, results are ordered by:

  • ID (Internal identifier)

To access or copy this identifier, click on the copy icon located in the first column: it is copied to the clipboard.

  • File name

  • Creation date

  • Status

  • Category

  • Direction

  • File type

  • Transaction count

An action column is added to let you interact with the selected result:

  • History: display the entire history of the selected file. All changes made to the file since its creation are listed with the corresponding dates and the identity of the modifier.

  • Details: open a new page with all the details of the selected file.
