Disabling automatic startup of the reporting services

When disabling the reporting feature, disable automatic startup of the plc and purger services.

About this task

Disable automatic startup of these services by editing their service profiles through the cluster management console.

Procedure

  1. From the cluster management console, select System & Services > EGO Services > Service Profiles.
  2. In the list of services, click purger.
    The service profile displays.
  3. In the <sc:StartType> tag, change the text from AUTOMATIC to MANUAL.
  4. Click Save. The service must be stopped to apply the change. Click OK to stop the service.
  5. In the Actions list for the purger service, select Start. Click OK to start the purger service.
  6. Refresh the Services page and verify that the purger service has started.
  7. Repeat these steps for the plc service.
