You can migrate service instances to another host if the current host does not meet requirements or if you need to take that host down for maintenance.
Before you begin
You must be a cluster administrator or have the Services Control permission to migrate
service instances.
About this task
When migrating service instances, you cannot select a specific host to migrate the service
instances; the system selects the new host automatically. The system migrates all service instances
of that service running on the same host and releases the old allocation. Migrating service
instances takes the service down for a few moments.
You can migrate service instances that are in the START or
RUN states.
