Create graphs for monitoring LSF clusters or license services

IBM Spectrum LSF RTM provides a rich set of time series graphs that provide cluster and application administrators and team leaders with insight into the operation of their environment. There are many out-of-the-box graphs that are provided in RTM. These graphs can be used to gain insight into how jobs are being processed and how resources are being used.

About this task

Follow this procedure to create new graphs. For more information on graphs and graph templates, see Graphs and Graph Templates.

Procedure

  1. Click the Console tab.
  2. Under Create, click New Graphs.

    The Create New Graphs page displays.

  3. Select your LSF or license server in the Host field.
  4. To filter the available types of graphs that you want to create, select a category of graphs in the Graph Types field.
  5. In the Create field at the bottom of the Graph Templates column, select the type of graph you want to create for the LSF or license service.

What to do next

You can edit the graphs by clicking Graph Management in the Management section in the Console tab by clicking the name of the host or graph.
