Setting breakpoints

You can set breakpoints for a rule set, rule, function, action, document, page, or field.

About this task

For rule sets and rules, you can set only breakpoints, not full breakpoints.
The document, page, or field must exist in the runtime hierarchy before you can set a breakpoint on it.

Procedure

To set breakpoints:

Set a breakpoint on a rule set, rule, function, or action:
1. Go to the Rulesets pane on the Datacap Studio Test tab.
2. Right-click the item and select Set breakpoint or Set full breakpoint.
Set a breakpoint on a document, page, or field:
1. Go to the Runtime batch hierarchy pane on the Datacap Studio Test tab.
2. Right-click the item and select Set breakpoint or Set full breakpoint.
