Sample: Importing and deploying the sample pattern types

You can import the sample pattern types into the catalog and then deploy them.

Before you begin

The steps for this task assume that you have:

Installed and configured Cloud Pak System.
Set up the environment as described in "Setting up the plug-in samples environment".

About this task

The hello sample pattern type archive file is in the patterntype.hello/export directory in your workspace. The pattern type archive file is named hello-x.x.x.x.tgz, where x.x.x.x is the version number of the pattern type.

The WAS CE sample pattern type archive file is in the patterntype.wasce.ptype/export directory in your workspace. The pattern type archive file is named wasce.ptype-x.x.x.x.tgz where x.x.x.x is the version number of the pattern type.
