Starting from a command line

To start the CICS® Transaction Gateway with the default options, type ctgstart at the command line and press Enter. A Gateway console session starts, and messages are displayed showing the values being used.

To override the startup defaults, type: ctgstart at the command line, followed by the startup options you require, and press Enter. A Gateway console session starts, and messages are displayed showing the values being used.

To get help for the startup options, enter: ctgstart -?
