Duplicating dashboards and components

You can duplicate dashboards or individual components to create variations quickly without rebuilding layouts or configurations.

Reusing existing elements helps maintain consistency across dashboards and supports different monitoring needs with minimal effort.

Duplicate entire dashboards

You can duplicate entire dashboards to create new versions by following these steps:

  1. From the dashboard list, select the dashboard you want to duplicate.
  2. Click the Duplicate icon Duplicate or select Duplicate from the dashboard’s overflow menu Open and close the list of options..
  3. A copy of the dashboard is created immediately and saved with the name Copy of <dashboard name>
  4. Edit the copied dashboard to update its name, description, or layout as needed.

Duplicate charts or KPIs

You can also duplicate charts or KPIs when you want to reuse specific visualizations:

  1. Open a dashboard and select the chart or KPI that you want to copy.
  2. From the component’s overflow menu Open and close the list of options., select Copy.
  3. Click the Paste icon Paste to add the duplicated component within the same dashboard or into another open dashboard.
  4. Edit the duplicated component to adjust its data or appearance.
  5. Click the Save icon Save to save your changes.

Duplicating dashboards and components allows you to create tailored variants quickly while preserving the structure and visual patterns that already work well.
