Importing Reports

You can use the export/import option to migrate reporting definition from the sandbox or the test environment to the production environment. The sandbox or test environment and the production environment must be on the same version of the application.

Before you begin

If you have the permission to create a report, you can import definition for a new report. If you have the permission to edit a report, you can import definition for an existing report. To import a report, you must use the report file that is exported from the application. You must not modify the exported file and must not import any file that is created manually.

Procedure

To import a report, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Administration > Utilities > Import Utility.
  2. Select the Report business object.
  3. Click Browse to select and upload the report definition file.
  4. Click Import.
