Closing Requests

After a request is resolved, a Request Manager can close the request.

About this task

If a workflow is designed for a request, and when the request is closed, a notification is sent to the Request Originator and the assigned user.

Procedure

To close a request, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Request Management tab, click Requests > All Requests.
  2. Click the Request ID hyperlink to open a request that you want to close.
  3. Click Close.
  4. In the Close Request window, enter the comments for closing the request.
  5. Click OK.
