Request Management Permissions

You can manage the request business object in the Request Management module in Emptoris® Program Management by setting permissions and configuring forms on the request business object.

Permissions for Request business object

The following table lists the permissions for the request business object:

Permission Description
Approve Ability to approve a request.
Assign Assign a user to a request.
Note: A user can be assigned to a request only if the following default row-level security conditions are satisfied:
  • The assigned user is enabled for Emptoris Program Management.
  • The assigned user has permission to close the requests.
  • The assigned user must belong to an organization in the organization hierarchy of the user who assigns the request, for example, User A. The organization hierarchy of User A includes all Emptoris Virtual Supply Master organizations and organizations associated with enabled applications. If User A does not belong to any organization, then no user will be available for request assignment.
Begin Analysis Change a request status to Analysis.
Begin Planning Change a request status to Planning.
Close Close a request.
Create Create a request.
Delete Delete a request.
Edit Edit a request.
Edit All Edit the requests in bulk from the Options list in the Request table view.
Link Contract Link a contract to a task.
Link Sourcing Event Link a sourcing event to a task.
Put On Hold Change a request status to On Hold.
Reject Reject a request.
