Managing Tasks

The Tasks sub-module contains a list of tasks created in Emptoris® Program Management. You can create tasks within a project or a milestone.

A user with project manager role can view all the tasks associated to the project. However, a user with a project participant role can view only the tasks assigned to the user.

Definition

A task is an activity that can be performed by a single user.

Permissions

The following table lists the task permissions available to users with various roles:

Role Permissions to Access Tasks
Program Administrator All tasks.
Program Manager All tasks within projects associated to a program that is created by the Program Manager.
Project Manager All tasks in a project created by the Project Manager.
Project Participant The assigned projects.
