ID Synchronization

To ensure that data is correctly viewed in the Emptoris® Spend Analysis application, IBM Emptoris recommends that you synchronize IDs after you apply rules.

The following IDs are updated when the synchronize IDs job is run:
  • Dimensional Parent IDs - If rules are applied, the hierarchy of the node in the dimension has changed and the parent IDs are updated.
  • Fact Legacy Ids - In the fact detail table the legacy IDs dimension is updated with reference to the system generated IDs from fact.
