If the ContractLineSemanticMdlExtension jobs fail while connecting to Cognos when you run the first main sequence with the following error message: ContractLineSemanticMdlExtension job fails with message: Java_Integration_Cognos_Model , 0: Fatal Error: Error connecting and authenticating to the Cognos BI server, you must restart the Cognos service. The jobs run correctly after the service is restarted.
