After you configure the extraction tool files, you can
run the extraction tool in the extract mode.

When to run in the extract mode
You must run
the extraction tool in the extract mode only after you complete the
following tasks:
- Run the extraction tool in the pre-extract mode.
- Mapped the business types in Emptoris® Sourcing.
- Mapped the NAISC and SIC codes in Emptoris Contract Management.
- Noted the additional address types and phone types in Emptoris Contract Management.
- Mapped the countries and states.
- Resolved all errors from the data assessment log file.

When you run
the extraction tool in the extract mode, the following files are generated.

Migrating addresses
While migrating addresses,
if either of the following fields has value in
Emptoris Sourcing,
the address from
Emptoris Sourcing is
assigned to the suppliers during merging.
If neither of the field has a value in
Emptoris Sourcing,
the value from
Emptoris Contract Management is
considered.
