Planning for database configuration
Engineering Lifecycle Management on Hybrid Cloud solution supports Db2® and Oracle database. Engineering Lifecycle Management operator does not manage a database. It needs to be setup manually. Using the following steps, you can create a database.
Database and Engineering Lifecycle Management operator cluster must be in the same network. Because the Engineering Lifecycle Management operator and applications that are running in containers can make outbound connections to database endpoint.
Create a database for Engineering Lifecycle Management applications.
Note: Engineering Lifecycle Management operator creates the database table for all the ELM applications in the setup
flow except the JAS. For JAS you need to create the database tables manually. For more information,
