Adding an image to a wiki page

Add an image to a wiki page.

About this task

You can add an image from your local file system, from a file attachment that you already uploaded, or from a webpage.

1. Create or edit a wiki page.
2. Insert the cursor in the Entry field where you want the image to be displayed.
3. Click the Insert Image icon in the editor toolbar.
4. Complete one of the following steps:
   • Enter the URL of an image file on a web page. Add descriptive text about the image in the Alternate text field.
   • To add an attachment instead of a URL, click Attchment and then select an Attachment type:
     • Link to an existing image file that you already attached to the wiki page. Add descriptive text about the image in the Alternate text field.
     • Upload a new image file. Browse for the file on your local file system and then enter a description. The File name field is populated automatically. Add descriptive text about the image in the Alternate text field.
5. Click OK to add the image to the wiki page.
