Managing the Advanced System Management Interface

This information describes how to manage the Advanced System Management Interface (ASMI).

The ASMI is the interface to the service processor or eBMC that is required to perform general and administrator-level service tasks, such as reading service processor or eBMC error logs, reading vital product data, setting up the service processor or eBMC, and controlling the system power.
