Three server environment

Typically, a production environment consist of three servers, a tools client, and the optional supplemental server. The Data, Core, and Analytics components are hosted on separate servers to provide higher capacity and quality of service that a production environment needs. This environment also contains the tools client and an optional supplemental server for connecting to Identity Insight™ (ISII) or i2Analyze.

The three-server environment consists of the following servers and workstations:
  • Data server
  • Core server
  • Analytics server
  • One or more tools client workstations
  • Optional supplemental server

You can also set up optional, multi-tenancy support in a three-server environment.
