Requesting a secondary review

The secondary review task is useful for gathering further insight from investigators, analysts, or other team members with varying experience.

Procedure

To request a secondary review:

  1. Open the case from your in-basket or by searching for the case.
  2. Click Actions > Add Task.
  3. In the Add dialog, choose Secondary Review from the Select a type list, and enter a name for the task.
  4. In the Secondary Review panel, browse for the user you want as the Reviewer.
  5. In the Due Date field, enter a date when you want the review to be complete.
  6. Use the Instructions field to provide specific direction to the reviewer.
  7. Click Add. The Secondary Review task is moved to the in-basket of the selected reviewer.
