How can I quickly navigating edit contact pages?
You can quickly navigate to the Edit Contact pages for a list of recipient IDs without having to first back out into the Database Summary and manually search for the contact.
What is Contact Insight?
Contact Insight provides you with a summary view of a contact's marketing history. This includes, scores, behaviors and automated program participation.
How can I manually add contacts to a database?
You can add an unlimited number of contacts into a database.
What are contact lists?
Contact lists are targeted subgroups of your database that contain contact information data that is gathered and compiled from your parent database.
What are seed lists?
Seed lists allow the contacts within your company who monitor and approve emails to confirm receipt of the emails you send to your customers.
What is a test list?
Use a test list as a contact source to make sure that the visual elements, wording, and links of your email work as intended before you send the email to the contacts in your database.
How can I view database opt-in details?
The Opt In Details field is a system field. It is populated by an action being submitted to the Acoustic Campaign platform to add a contact record to the database.
Which database fields allow updating the opt-in date for a contact?
A contact's opt-in date might not be available or might not be mapped properly when the database was loaded.
What is double opt-in?
Double opt-in allows you to require that contacts actively confirm their subscription before they are added to your email database.
Opt-out handling
In Acoustic Campaign, your organization can maintain opt-outs on a database level or an organization level.
What is a suppression list?
Suppression lists prevent emails to email addresses that have opted out, filed an abuse complaint, or are no longer valid (bad email address).
What is segmentation?
The Acoustic Campaign database segmenting feature divides a database into equal segments or a random sampling, based on the specified number of contacts.
