Creating a Hub Service Mapping project for non-XML data

To create a hub service mapping project for non-XML data, complete this task.

1. Click File > New > Project.
2. Expand Master Data Management and select Hub Service Mapping Project.
3. Click Next.
4. Enter a name for the project.
5. Enter a Java™ package name to use for compiled XSL.
   For example: org.example.newservice
6. Click the EAR project name in the drop down list.
   If you used the default enterprise application name, the EAR project name will be MDM.
7. Click Next.
8. Select the Define delimited text option.
9. Click Next.
   The values for the following fields are populated by default:

   • Schema file name
   • Message
   • Number of fields
   • Encoding page option
   • Escape scheme
10. If necessary, modify the default values.
11. If you wish to open the new schema in the DFDL Editor, select the Open generated schema option.
    Note: When Open generated schema is selected, the DFDL Editor will open alongside the mapping editor after you click Finish.
12. Click Finish.
