Setting file associations

You can specify which file extensions you are using with your scripts. To ensure that your script editor is working with the same file suffixes, you can choose the file association preferences.

Procedure

Set the file association. Use either of the user interface or file association.

  1. Click Preferences > General > Editors.
  2. Select File Associations.
  3. Add the new suffix in the top dialog box and then add the InfoSphere® editor in the bottom box. Click OK.

  1. Right-click the file that you want to change the extension.
  2. Select Open with.
  3. Select Other.
  4. Select the IBM® InfoSphere Master Data Management Collaboration Server - Collaborative Edition editor from the list.
