You can use the InfoSphere® MDM Notification
Framework to create custom notifications that handle data distribution
when an entity changes. In this way, data changes can be "trickle
fed" to consuming applications.
Data distribution notifications can be used to manage and transfer
data from its source to a destination where the data can be used.
When you create a custom data distribution notification, you must
define:
- what data must be distributed to the downstream system.
- when the data should be distributed: scheduled, real time, or
user-driven.
- what mechanism should be used to distribute the data: batch or
trickle feed.
