Users who manage the stores, the master catalog and the
sales catalogs.
As a catalog manager, you are responsible for the following:
- Responsible for creating content of product and variants within
the catalog
- Responsible for CRUD (create, retrieve, update, and delete) sales
catalog
- CRUD of master catalog categories
- CRUD of sales catalog categories
- Initiation of creation of product
- Review and approve of product information, including product,
SKU, bundle and kit
- Second-level approval inside a workflow
The Catalog Manager can create Advanced Catalog Management
catalog entries and define basic parameters for it (like the type
and association to attributes in the Advanced Catalog Management attribute
dictionary). The Content Manager also reviews and approves edited
Advanced Catalog Management catalog entries so that they can be exported
to the commerce system. The Content Editor does the enrichment of
the attribute values (both core attributes and reusable attributes
of the Advanced Catalog Management attribute dictionary) and the assignment
of Advanced Catalog Management catalog entries to one of several Advanced
Catalog Management sales catalogs.
The Catalog Manager creates and
edits Advanced Catalog Management sales catalogs including defining
and updating the hierarchical structure.
The Catalog Manager
creates Advanced Catalog Management store and manages Advanced Catalog
Management master and sales catalogs in the store.
The Advanced
Catalog Management asset offers basic workflow-controlled creation
and editing of Advanced Catalog Management catalog entries with generic
edit and approval steps.
