Configuring IBM Spectrum LSF Data Manager to use the IBM Spectrum LSF multicluster capability

LSF Data Manager integrates with existing forwarding policies in the LSF multicluster capability to ensure that the availability of data requirements take precedence over availability of slots.

About this task

Configure the RemoteDataManagers section in the lsf.datamanager file on the submission cluster. LSF maintains a connection between the currently active data manager management host in each cluster, and uses this connection to determine the availability of remote files.

Each submission cluster must use its own data manager host. A single data manager host cannot be used for multiple submission clusters.
