These tutorials provide step by step instructions, with explanations, to show you how to
use WebSphere® Service Registry and Repository (WSRR)
Studio to add classifications, properties, and relationships to a configuration profile, and then
configure the WSRR dashboard to reflect these changes.
Assumptions: - These tutorials assume that you are familiar with certain WSRR Studio concepts - in particular:
- Working with configuration profile projects
- Modelling configuration items (including business models and classifications) by using UML
tooling
- Generating artifacts (OWL, XML, SACL, and UI definitions) for your configuration profiles
Most of the steps will be completed by using WSRR
Studio.
- The tutorials assume you are running an unmodified service management profile. Some of the steps
will be different if you have a modified profile.
- The tutorials assume that you are familiar with certain WSRR dashboard concepts - in particular,
configuring and using the Detail widget. Some of the steps will be completed by using the
dashboard.
- The instructions in this tutorial assume that you are using a Firefox browser, but other
browsers can also be used.
The tutorials form a sequence. If you want to carry out all the tasks, complete the tutorials
strictly in the order shown. However, you can also examine a specific tutorial for reference
purposes. Before you start the tutorials, you must complete the steps in Setting up the tutorials.
